Up to 3 Million KRW in Support
Yeongam County, Jeollanam-do (Governor Woo Seunghee) is accepting applications from institutions, companies, and organizations wishing to participate in the 'Incentive Grant Program for Population Influx' until the 24th.
According to the county on the 15th, this program is one of the measures to address population decline. It is a system that recognizes the contribution of institutions, companies, or organizations that have achieved an influx of five or more members, including family members, by awarding them incentive grants ranging from 500,000 to 3,000,000 KRW.
The eligible influx is defined as cases where individuals have maintained resident registration in another city, county, or district for more than one year, then moved to Yeongam County by the end of June 2024, and maintained their address there until December 31, 2024.
Institutions, companies, or organizations that meet the requirements can apply to participate in the program at the nearest eup or myeon Administrative Welfare Center. Yeongam County will verify the facts and provide the incentive grants in the form of Yeongam Love Gift Certificates.
Kim Sunmi, Head of the Population and Youth Division, stated, "We will do our utmost to increase the population by responding to population decline caused by low birth rates and an aging society through various incentive programs," and added, "We hope for active participation not only from institutions, companies, and organizations, but also in support projects that help revitalize the local community."
