Support Project for Small Business Digital Infrastructure
Up to 2 Million KRW per Store
Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province announced on the 15th that it will promote the 2025 Small Business Small-scale Management Environment Improvement Support Project and Small Business Digital Infrastructure Support Project to alleviate the management cost burden of small business owners struggling with economic recession, high inflation, and high interest rates.
The Small Business Small-scale Management Environment Improvement Support Project provides up to 2 million KRW, covering up to 70% of the supply cost for store-specific facility improvement expenses such as store management environment improvements (replacement of outdoor signs, interior and exterior renovations, standing tables, display cases, restroom improvements) and safety system equipment (fire extinguishing and security system equipment, CCTV).
The Small Business Digital Infrastructure Support Project provides up to 2 million KRW, covering up to 70% of the supply cost for the introduction of digital devices per store, including smart order systems (kiosks, table orders, etc.), 3D technologies (3D foot scanners, 3D printers, etc.), AI-based devices (unmanned vending machines, serving robots, etc.), LCD electronic whiteboards, and digital advertising boards.
The application period is from the 22nd of this month to February 5th. Small business owners who have been operating in Geochang-gun for more than six months as of the announcement date can fill out the application forms attached to the announcement on the county website and apply by visiting the Economic Enterprise Division of Geochang-gun Office in person or by mail.
However, industries such as finance and insurance, and those promoting luxury consumption or speculation are excluded from support. The county will select support recipients after reviewing the submitted applications based on evaluation criteria.
Kim Mi-jung, head of the Economic Enterprise Division, said, “We hope this support project will reduce the management burden on small business owners and contribute to revitalizing the local economy,” adding, “We will do our best to provide practical support that small business owners can truly feel.”
