The execution of the warrant involved 1,200 personnel from the National Police Agency's Special Investigation Unit and the metropolitan investigation units of Seoul, Southern Gyeonggi, Northern Gyeonggi, and Incheon, along with 40 prosecutors from Gongsucheo.
The Joint Investigation Headquarters presented the arrest and search warrants in front of the residence. Currently, about 30 members of the People Power Party and lawyers Yoon Gap-geun and Kim Hong-il have formed a "human chain" to prevent the arrest.
Lawyer Yoon stated, "This is not a legitimate official duty," and argued, "There are no exceptions under Articles 110 and 111 of the Criminal Procedure Act in the warrant. All actions are illegal and amount to rebellion."

The Presidential Security Service has set up six layers of vehicle barriers at the first line of defense near the entrance of the residence and gathered its staff.
The police repeatedly broadcast warnings, stating, "If you obstruct the execution of the warrant, you may be arrested on the spot for obstruction of official duties," while attempting to enter the residence.

According to President Yoon's side, security personnel have also been deployed on the Maebongsan side.
Meanwhile, the Police Agency's Special Investigation Unit announced that arrest warrants were issued on the 13th and 14th for Deputy Director Kim and Director Lee, respectively, on charges of obstruction of official duties.
The police requested their appearances three times, but when they did not respond, arrest warrants were applied for at the Western District Prosecutors' Office.
