The office of President Yoon Suk-yeol stated, "The Security Office has filed complaints against three officials from the National Investigation Headquarters (NIH)" and urged strict punishment.

On the afternoon of the 14th, Yoon Gap-geun, the lawyer representing President Yoon, announced through a press release, "The Security Office has filed complaints against three individuals for violating the Military Secrets Protection Act: the NIH Security Investigation Review Officer, the NIH Security Investigation Section 1 Chief, who received internal information considered military secrets such as the locations of key military facilities, and an unidentified person who received military secrets from them and led an illegal intrusion meeting regarding military facilities."

He added, "They summoned a Security Office executive to a hotel located in Jung-gu, Seoul, solely to execute an illegal and invalid warrant, collecting information about military and security facilities. Furthermore, they even gathered information on critical matters related to the presidential residence security, such as the location and disarming method of vehicle barricade equipment, the location of the communications room, the personnel on duty, and the tendencies of commanders."

Lawyer Yoon continued, "These actions involve core matters related to the president's security and military secrets within protected military facility zones, which, if leaked to the public, would pose a serious threat to national security. Their conduct, focused solely on executing an illegal warrant while disregarding the safety of the highest constitutional institution?the president?and national security, must be met with severe punishment."

Meanwhile, the execution of the second arrest warrant for President Yoon is expected to take place at 5 a.m. on the 15th. The police are dispatching investigators from the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency's Metropolitan Investigation Unit to the High-ranking Officials' Crime Investigation Office (HOCI), and up to 1,000 police officers are anticipated to be mobilized for the execution of the second warrant against President Yoon. These personnel will be divided into teams for arrest, search, and Security Office suppression to carry out the warrant.
