Special Financial Lectures for University Freshmen
to Be Held During Orientation Sessions
On the 15th, the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) announced that it will conduct special lectures for university freshmen to cultivate basic financial knowledge and prevent financial fraud.
This involves FSS financial education professors visiting each university to deliver a two-hour lecture. The lectures will be held from March 10, when freshmen orientation takes place, until March 21. Universities may also conduct financial education using videos or textbooks produced by the FSS.
In this special financial lecture, the FSS will educate students on basic financial transaction knowledge necessary for university students, including proper saving and investment methods, credit management, and student loans. It will also provide guidance on how to respond to various types of virtual asset-related investment fraud and proxy deposit fraud, which have recently been increasing.
Universities wishing to participate in the special financial lectures can apply through the FSS e-Financial Education Center from today until the 24th.
