Recruitment for New Students in the ‘Master’s Program in Real Estate’ and the ‘Advanced Course for Redevelopment Project Leaders’
Dong-A University is establishing the largest ‘Graduate School of Real Estate’ in the Yeongnam region to train real estate practice experts.
Dong-A University (President Lee Hae-woo) will recruit the first class of new students for the 2025 academic year for the Graduate School of Real Estate’s first ‘Master’s Program in Real Estate’ and the ‘Advanced Course for Redevelopment Project Leaders’ from January 21 to February 7.
Dong-A University has established the Graduate School of Real Estate as a specialized graduate school to focus on professional theories and practical training in real estate investment, development, and asset management, strengthen real estate education in the local community, and contribute to regional economic revitalization. Dong-A University aims to leap forward as a ‘prestigious university for specialized and advanced real estate practical education.’
In particular, the Graduate School of Real Estate at Dong-A University is attracting great attention as Professor Kang Jeong-gyu, the ‘first domestic Ph.D. in Real Estate,’ will lead all real estate education courses, teach alongside students, and participate in field activities.
The Graduate School of Real Estate at Dong-A University is the largest in the Yeongnam region for the Master’s program in Real Estate, consisting of three majors: ‘Real Estate Investment,’ ‘Real Estate Development and Construction,’ and ‘Real Estate Asset Management,’ with a total capacity of 50 students.
The Graduate School of Real Estate focuses on professional theories and practical training in real estate investment, development, and asset management for working professionals and self-employed individuals. Admission is open to those who have graduated from a four-year university regardless of major, selected through document screening and interviews. Starting March 2025, classes will be held in the evening every Tuesday and Wednesday at Dong-A University’s Bumin Campus under a two-year, four-semester system.
Along with the Master’s program, the Graduate School of Real Estate at Dong-A University also operates the ‘Advanced Course for Redevelopment Project Leaders.’
The ‘Advanced Course for Redevelopment Project Leaders’ is a top practical real estate finance course for redevelopment and reconstruction projects, targeting leaders involved in redevelopment projects such as union presidents, promotion committee chairs, specialized lawyers, appraisers, redevelopment company representatives, and students interested in redevelopment projects.
Real estate experts with outstanding practical knowledge in the real estate market and redevelopment project fields will be invited to conduct practical classes and field visits to successful redevelopment project sites domestically and internationally. The course is scheduled to start in March 2025 and will be held every Wednesday evening over two semesters in one year.
Applications for the first class of the Graduate School of Real Estate’s ‘Master’s Program in Real Estate’ and ‘Advanced Course for Redevelopment Project Leaders’ at Dong-A University can be submitted from January 20 via the Graduate School of Real Estate website. Dong-A University will also recruit new students for the doctoral program in Real Estate at the general graduate school from January 20 to 24 and plans to establish the ‘Department of Real Estate Investment and Development,’ a four-year degree program for adult learners.
