A Total of 10 Practical Startup Basic Courses Offered
Gyeonggi-do Icheon City is recruiting students for the basic course of the 'Agricultural Product Processing Startup Incubation' program for local farmers until the 24th.
Operated by the Icheon Agricultural Technology Center, the 'Agricultural Product Processing Startup Incubation' program consists of a total of 4 years: ▲theoretical education (basic and advanced courses) for 1 year ▲processing equipment utilization training (practical course) for 1 year ▲production and sales training of processed products (startup coaching course) for 2 years. Upon completing the processing equipment utilization training, participants can register as distribution or specialized sales businesses and use the infrastructure within the processing center to produce and sell products such as beverages, jams, powders, and dried snacks.

In the basic course, students learn comprehensive practical theory including guidance on using the Icheon Agricultural Product Comprehensive Processing Center and facility tours, market outlook, setting their business direction, fundamentals of agricultural product processing, licensing procedures, and business plan preparation to help them understand the overall flow of the agricultural product processing business.
The training will be conducted over 10 sessions from February 3 to March 10. Students must complete 90% of the course to graduate. For more details, please refer to the Icheon City website or contact the Agricultural Processing Team at the Agricultural Technology Center.
Meanwhile, the Icheon Agricultural Product Comprehensive Processing Center, completed in 2019, provides comprehensive technical support for agricultural product processing technology, administrative procedures for product sales, and marketing.
