Jeonnam Province announced that it was selected as the top institution in two categories?'Performance Improvement in Internal Audit Activities' and 'Internal Audit Contest'?in the 2024 internal audit activity evaluation conducted by the Board of Audit and Inspection, and received a commendation from the Chairman of the Board of Audit and Inspection.

Jeonnam Province was selected as the best-performing institution in performance improvement among the 17 metropolitan cities and provinces, as its internal audit activity results, planning, and execution capabilities showed significant improvement compared to last year.

Additionally, in the 'Internal Audit Contest' held by the Board of Audit and Inspection, Jeonnam Province was honored as the 'top institution' among the 17 metropolitan cities and provinces for its 'special audit on public property.'

In particular, the Jeonnam Province Audit Office achieved the distinction of winning awards for three consecutive years in the Internal Audit Contest, receiving the grand prize for the vacant house audit in 2022, the marine waste audit in 2023, and now the top prize for the public property audit.
