Adidas to Make Doosan Bears Uniforms... "Official Sponsorship"

Focus on Lightweight Fabric and Emblem Marking

Adidas Korea announced on the 13th that it has signed an official sponsorship agreement with the prestigious professional baseball team Doosan Bears.

On the 13th, Adidas Korea and Doosan Bears held an official sponsorship ceremony at the Adidas Korea headquarters in Seoul, attended by Peter Kwak, CEO of Adidas Korea, Brian Cups, Head of Adidas Korea, Ko Young-seop, President of Doosan Bears, and Kim Tae-ryong, General Manager of Doosan Bears.

The key theme of the newly introduced Doosan Bears uniform through this agreement is performance enhancement. Adidas Korea focused on lightweight materials and emblem markings. The new uniform is made with functional fabric and sublimation transfer marking technology to help improve players' performance. Additionally, Adidas’s signature ‘3-Stripe’ is applied on the sides of the uniform.

Through this official sponsorship agreement, Doosan Bears unveiled a new BI (Brand Identity) for the first time in 15 years since 2010. The new BI emphasizes ‘Fan First,’ with the emblem representing ‘One Team Bears’?the club, its home city Seoul, and the ‘Mighty 10th Batter’ united on the infield diamond where strong teamwork takes place. The logo and symbol have also been transformed into a friendly typeface, reflecting the club’s fan-friendly orientation.
