Signing of Business Agreement for Integrated Early Childhood Education Training
Strengthening the Capabilities of Kindergarten and Daycare Center Staff
Gwangju Metropolitan Office of Education and Gwangju National University of Education are joining forces to nurture education and childcare experts.
On the 13th, Superintendent Lee Jungseon and President Heo Seungjun of Gwangju National University of Education signed a business agreement to operate training programs for the integration of early childhood education and childcare systems.
This agreement was established to support the development of early childhood education and to strengthen the capabilities of kindergarten and daycare center staff.

According to the agreement, the two institutions will pursue mutual cooperation for the cultivation and development of local education and childcare experts, develop and distribute high-quality training programs for kindergarten and daycare center staff, and operate customized training programs tailored to the four major areas of integrated early childhood education and childcare that reflect regional characteristics.
The city office of education expects that the operation of various training programs tailored to local characteristics will strengthen the capabilities of kindergarten and daycare center staff in the region.
Superintendent Lee stated, "In order for children before school age to receive systematic and appropriate educational support, strengthening the capabilities of staff must come first," adding, "We will do our best to ensure that our children receive high-quality education and care."
