Applications Accepted Until the 31st
Up to 300 Million KRW Loans for Agricultural Start-ups
Gapyeong-gun, Gyeonggi Province (Governor Seo Tae-won) announced on the 13th that it will accept applications for the '2025 First Half Support Project for Returning Farmers' Agricultural Start-up and Housing Purchase' until the 31st to ensure the stable settlement of returning farmers and revitalize the local area.
This project offers a loan with an annual interest rate of 2.0%, with a 5-year grace period followed by equal principal repayments over 10 years. Agricultural start-up funds are supported up to 300 million KRW per household, and housing purchase funds up to 75 million KRW per household.
Eligible applicants are household heads aged 65 or younger (born after January 1, 1959) who have lived in urban areas for more than one year and have moved to rural areas within the last five years as returning farmers, or non-agricultural residents living in rural areas without farming experience who wish to return to farming.
The support areas include △ establishment of farming infrastructure △ installation of food and agricultural product manufacturing and processing facilities △ purchase of processing machinery for agricultural start-ups, and △ purchase of houses and land △ new construction and remodeling of houses.
Applications must be submitted in person to the Agricultural Policy Team of the Agricultural Policy Division in Gapyeong-gun. Detailed information and forms can be found in the announcements section on the Gapyeong-gun website.
