Kiwoom Securities, 2025's First Special Brokerage ISA ELB Sold Out

Kiwoom Securities announced on the 13th that its first exclusive special ELB for intermediary ISA in 2025 (6-month maturity, 5% annual pre-tax) worth 5 billion KRW has been fully sold out.

Kiwoom Securities first introduced the special ELB for intermediary ISA in May last year. It offers a 5% annual pre-tax return and has steadily gained investors' trust and popularity since its launch.

Kiwoom Securities is selling additional exclusive special ELBs for intermediary ISA until the 16th. This is a 6-month maturity product that pays a 5% annual pre-tax return under the same conditions as the special ELB that was fully sold out last week. On the maturity evaluation date, if the closing price of the underlying asset, Samsung Electronics common stock, exceeds 200% of the initial reference price, an additional return of 0.01% of the investment amount will be paid.

ELB is an equity-linked bond, a bond-type product whose returns vary depending on the price fluctuations of the underlying asset. It is a low-risk product that pays principal and returns, but if a credit event (bankruptcy, default) occurs at the issuer, principal loss may occur. Kiwoom Securities' credit rating is AA- (as of 2024.03.25, Korea Ratings).
