Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Youngmin) announced on the 13th that an analysis of last year's civil complaint processing status showed that the speed of handling civil complaints had improved by more than half.
According to the county, an analysis of 25,708 civil complaints with a statutory processing period of three days or more last year showed that the rate of shortened processing time was 52.5%, an increase of 5.7 percentage points compared to 46.8% the previous year.
In addition, the number of overdue civil complaints last year was 24 in the second half, a decrease of 147 compared to 171 in the first half. The county explained that this was the result of continuous efforts to improve customer satisfaction.
A county official said, "Shortening the processing period for civil complaints plays an important role in reducing the time and economic burden on citizens," and added, "We will do our best to enhance the friendly and transparent Goheung-gun brand by providing convenient and prompt civil complaint services that residents can truly experience."
