To Be Held on the 2nd Floor of the Main Building's Permanent Exhibition Hall on the 14th

The National Gwangju Science Museum announced on the 13th that it will hold a small-scale special exhibition on biomimicry, titled "Imitative Human, Homo Mimetikus."

This event, which will take place on the 2nd floor of the main building's permanent exhibition hall on the 14th, will feature biomimicry works from the National Science Museum and Mokpo Natural History Museum.

The KTX Sancheon, which improved high-speed travel efficiency by mimicking the streamlined structure of the sancheoneo fish, will be displayed as a working model at a 1:87 scale.

Additionally, various research cases will be introduced, including interviews with biomimicry technology researchers, a microneedle injection inspired by viper fangs to reduce pain, and a flying robot that does not crash even after collisions by adopting the wing mechanism of the Jangsupungdeng-i beetle.
