L&K Bio Prepares for Global Symposium on Height-Expandable Cage

LNKBioMed announced on the 13th that it is preparing for the '2025 Height-Expandable Cage Global Symposium' scheduled to be held in June this year.

An LNKBioMed official visited the Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital in Thailand from the 9th to the 12th to discuss the symposium preparations with Professor Wichan, a leading authority in spinal surgery in Thailand.

Last year's height-expandable cage symposium held in Korea will be hosted this year at the Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital, which serves as the training center hub for height-expandable cage products in Thailand. Professor Wichan was invited as a key host of the symposium.

The Royal Chulalongkorn University Hospital has been ranked as the number one university in Thailand for 15 consecutive years in the 2024 QS World University Rankings. Through consistent investment, it continues extensive research and recruitment of international talent. Professor Wichan, an alumnus of Chulalongkorn University, currently serves as the head of the Orthopedics Department at Chulalongkorn University Hospital.

As a pioneer and leader in the field of spinal surgery, Professor Wichan is participating in LNKBioMed’s ‘XTP Project.’ It was agreed that he will play a central role in training to promote the spread of height-expandable cages in Thailand.

Since December last year, Professor Wichan has been performing surgeries using the ‘XcellFix-XTP’ product. He stated, "XcellFix-XTP is used in surgeries approached through the patient’s side and is designed in a curved shape, which enhances surgical convenience and makes it highly competitive in the market."

An LNKBioMed official said, "We expect this symposium held in Thailand to serve as a foothold for building networks in the Southeast Asian region and further play a key role in the global network."
