Fasoo Launches Next-Generation Data Security Management Solution 'Fasoo DSPM'

Fasoo announced on the 13th the launch of ‘Fasoo DSPM,’ a next-generation data security posture management solution.

Provided as Software as a Service (SaaS), Fasoo DSPM supports users in comprehensively understanding the security status of data scattered across multi and hybrid clouds, responding to vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance.

As the spread of multi and hybrid clouds causes data to be dispersed and fall into blind spots of management, Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) is gaining attention worldwide as the next-generation data management solution. For all companies and institutions utilizing the cloud or pursuing digital transformation, DSPM is essential to integrally manage data used in cloud-based applications and storage.

Fasoo DSPM identifies and classifies data scattered across various cloud storages and visualizes the security status. It can automatically detect and classify sensitive information, including unmanaged dark and shadow data, enabling detailed management of sensitive data.

An intuitive dashboard featuring simple menus and convenience functions is a key characteristic of Fasoo DSPM, allowing users to easily check the location by storage, encryption status of individual data, and exposure risk status all on one screen. Compliance status with various domestic and international regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act, is also displayed at the storage and data unit level.

Detailed policy settings are also possible. Policies can be set per storage unit, and batch policy application by access rights or detection policy settings by compliance regulations are supported. For those operating regional storages, it enables more efficient management of data sovereignty requirements demanded by each region. It also identifies and manages duplicate data, which is expected to reduce cloud operation costs.

Fasoo DSPM will also be offered as a service through a business agreement with cloud leader Megazone Cloud in the future.
