Daytime Temperatures Nationwide Range from 2 to 8 Degrees
"Above Freezing" Across the Country
On Monday the 13th, daytime temperatures in Seoul are expected to rise to 6 degrees Celsius. While there won't be severe cold, snow or rain will fall in various parts of the central region from the afternoon.
According to the Korea Meteorological Administration on the 12th, the lowest temperatures tomorrow morning are expected to range between -14 and 0 degrees Celsius, with daytime highs between 2 and 8 degrees Celsius.

The expected lowest temperature in Seoul is -4 degrees, and the highest is 6 degrees.
By region, the lowest and highest temperatures are Incheon -4°C and 5°C, Daejeon -5°C and 6°C, Gwangju -2°C and 6°C, Daegu -5°C and 7°C, Ulsan -4°C and 8°C, and Busan 0°C and 8°C.
From the afternoon, snow or rain will fall in Seoul, Incheon, and western Gyeonggi Province. In eastern Gyeonggi and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, snow will begin falling in the late afternoon.
As temperatures gradually rise, most cold wave warnings will be lifted; however, from the night of Tuesday the 14th, cold air will move southward again, causing temperatures to drop. Between dawn and morning on the 14th, precipitation is expected not only in the Seoul metropolitan area and inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province but also in inland Chungcheong and northern inland and northeastern mountainous areas of Gyeongbuk Province.
Expected snowfall amounts will generally be around 1 cm or less, except for 1 to 5 cm in inland and mountainous areas of Gangwon Province, so the amount of snow and rain will not be significant.
