Gwangju Buk-gu Recruiting Creators to Share Local News

Submit by Email by the 7th of Next Month

Gwangju Buk-gu is recruiting "Bukcreator" (Buk-gu + Creator), who will deliver local news.


According to the district office on the 12th, Bukcreator is a policy being implemented for the first time this year, established to promote communication with residents and administrative transparency.


Bukcreators will participate in planning and appearing in promotional content for the district. Recruitment fields and numbers include one scriptwriter, four actors, and two dance teams. Any resident aged 14 or older who lives, works, or attends school in Gwangju and is interested in promoting district policies can apply. The completed content will be posted on the district office's YouTube and Instagram channels.


The district will provide up to 300,000 won in local gift certificates as an activity reward, depending on participation in content production. Additional incentives include issuance of a certificate of activity, registration of volunteer hours on the 1365 Volunteer Portal, and commendations for outstanding participants.


Applications can be submitted via email from the 13th of this month to the 7th of next month by completing the application form and required documents. For more details, refer to the announcement posted on the district office website or contact the public relations office.

District Mayor Moon In said, "As the importance of policy promotion is growing recently, I hope Bukcreator will serve as a catalyst for residents to take an interest in district policies," and added, "We will continue to communicate with residents and do our best to encourage their active participation in district affairs."
