Each team is composed of four members, including a team leader with professional qualifications in the emergency field, nurses, and emergency medical technicians, and plays a central role in selecting hospitals and coordinating transfers with the 119 emergency response team to ensure the rapid transfer of emergency patients.

In particular, with the establishment of this new organization, various services such as emergency patient medical counseling and emergency care guidance will be strengthened.

The existing three-person consultation system has been enhanced by adding one more staff member for consultation, coordination, and control, enabling a more systematic and prompt response.

In addition, practical emergency care support will be expanded by using video calls between witnesses and counselors to provide real-time emergency care guidance, and by providing visual materials (card news, animated images) to help callers easily follow instructions.

The establishment of the 119 Emergency Situation Management Center is expected to reduce the workload of emergency responders, resolve transfer delays, and provide faster and more efficient emergency medical services in the event of an emergency.

Song Sangcheol, director of the 119 Emergency Situation Management Center, said, "Based on the Jeonbuk-style emergency patient transfer system established and operated from this year, we will do our best to protect the lives of residents by establishing an on-site emergency care and rapid hospital selection system."
