Boram Sangjo Wins First Brand Award for 12 Consecutive Years

Boram Sangjo announced on the 10th that it has won the Korea First Brand Award for 12 consecutive years.


Now in its 23rd year, the Korea First Brand Award is hosted by the Korea Consumer Brand Committee and is directly selected by consumers.

In this year's First Brand consumer survey, about 70% of the respondents who evaluated Boram Sangjo were from the MZ generation (people in their 20s and 30s). This shows that Boram Sangjo has established itself as a brand that resonates not only with the traditional funeral service industry but also with younger generations.


Boram Sangjo has led the popularization of funeral services. It was the first in the industry to introduce a ‘fixed price system’ for funeral products. For customer convenience, it has introduced various additional services such as funeral ceremony assistants, a cyber memorial hall, and LED portrait frame services.


Moreover, it is expanding its business beyond simple funeral services with new ventures such as ‘SkyPet,’ a dedicated funeral product for pets, and ‘ViaGem,’ a bio-jewel developed by its group affiliate Via Life Science.


A Boram Group official stated, “Funeral services are evolving from simple funeral offerings to total life care services that support customers’ daily lives and overall well-being. We will continue to thoroughly analyze and reflect customer demands to provide differentiated services and value.”
