CAS Awards DQ Certification Grade A to Nexmore Systems

Data quality certification agency CAS (CEO Jeon Young-ha) announced on the 9th that it has awarded the highest grade ‘Class A’ DQ certification (Data Quality certification) to Nexmore Systems (CEO Kim Yong-geol), an IoT service specialized company. The certification target is ‘Big data-based floating population analysis processed data,’ which includes population counts at the administrative dong level nationwide, population counts by gender/age/inflow area, and other information. This data was processed after being provided by SKT and is utilized in over 200 public sector projects and big data platforms.

Nexmore Systems is an IoT service specialized company that develops and supplies software such as device platforms and applications by integrating IoT-based technologies. Its main services include AI monitoring and smart city services, big data and safety platforms, smart factories, and server information management systems. Recently, it has participated in the Ministry of Science and ICT-led ‘Digital-based Climate Change Prediction and Damage Minimization Project,’ conducting joint research and development on the ‘Digital Twin-based Material Performance Simulation Solution Model Development’ part.


Kim Yong-geol, CEO of Nexmore Systems, expressed, “Although we have always been committed to data quality, we are pleased to receive objective verification from an accredited institution through this DQ certification.” He pointed out, “As the demand for big data analysis diversifies recently, the importance of data quality is also increasing,” and added, “We plan to enhance data quality management company-wide based on this certification.” Furthermore, he shared the news that “Nexmore Systems has been selected as a supplier company for the government’s ‘2025 Data Voucher Support Project,’ a program implemented to revitalize the data ecosystem and develop the data industry,” and stated, “We will utilize and supply the excellent data awarded the Class A grade across various industrial fields.”


The DQ certification is a system implemented by the Ministry of Science and ICT based on Article 20 of the Data Industry Act. The certification types include ▼Data Content Certification (structured, unstructured) and ▼Data Management System Certification. The certification Nexmore Systems received this time is structured data content certification, and the certification grades are divided into Class A, B, and C according to integrity (perfect score of 1.0). The highest grade, Class A, is awarded when integrity is 0.99 or higher.
