Briefing on the Production Plan for the Public Event
Jangseong County in Jeollanam-do has begun preparations for the Jeonnam Sports Festival, with 100 days remaining until the event.
According to the county on the 10th, a presentation meeting was recently held to discuss the production plans for the opening ceremonies of the 64th Jeollanam-do Sports Festival and the 33rd Jeollanam-do Para Sports Festival, attended by heads of related organizations, provincial and county council members, and sports association officials.
Based on the feedback proposed at the meeting, the county plans to refine the production plan to incorporate Jangseong's history, culture, tourism, and vision into the public events. After the meeting, a 'D-100 Countdown Ceremony for the Jeonnam Sports Festival' was held at the county office entrance, where participants pledged active cooperation for the successful hosting of the event.
County Governor Kim Hanjong stated, "The public events of the Sports Festival are a great opportunity to showcase the charm and potential of Jangseong," adding, "In connection with the 'Visit Jangseong Year 2025,' we plan to make this a 'promotional sports festival' to widely publicize Jangseong County's new city brand, 'Seongjang Jangseong.'"
The 64th Jeollanam-do Sports Festival will be held for four days from April 18 to April 21, and the 33rd Jeollanam-do Para Sports Festival will take place for three days from April 30 to May 2 at various sports venues.
