Hwang Hyun-seon, Secretary General of the Joguk Innovation Party, posted on her social media on the 9th that they are "opening the 'Joguk Innovation Cafe'." Secretary General Hwang stated that former leader Cho Kuk was "moved by the message 'Cheer up' along with 10,000 won" and conveyed his wish to "gather the citizens' hearts and send a coffee truck to the rally site. I think this is a more meaningful use of the pocket money. We want to participate in this way."

She added, "'Joguk Innovation Cafe' will be operated with the hearts of the citizens who sent the pocket money," and "We hope it will be a small support to those participating in the nationwide rally for the arrest, detention, and impeachment of Yoon Seok-yeol."

The 'Joguk Innovation Cafe' is scheduled to be set up around Gwanghwamun Square in Seoul at 3 p.m. on the 11th, where the 'Immediate Arrest and Resignation Nationwide Rally for Yoon Seok-yeol' will be held, and will provide 1,000 cups of coffee free of charge.

Secretary General Hwang said, "The cafe's name was directly coined by former leader Cho Kuk," and added, "His passionate affection for the party still seems unchanged there. We will become a more dedicated Joguk Innovation Party." She also mentioned, "Former leader Cho Kuk sent a message saying he plans to do this again next time."

Earlier, former leader Cho Kuk was indicted on December 12 last year on charges including his children's admission fraud and covering up Blue House inspections, sentenced by the Supreme Court to two years in prison and a fine of 6 million won, and was imprisoned at Seoul Detention Center on the 16th of the same month. Since then, Cho has continued 'prison politics' by sending letters several times to Innovation Party lawmakers and supporters.

In a prison letter released on the 8th, Cho Kuk stated, "With the pocket money generously sent by citizens, we decided to create a provisional 'Joguk Innovation Cafe' to provide free drinks to citizens attending rallies." Before his imprisonment, on the 14th of last month, he also prepaid and provided 333 drinks as a 'small farewell gift' to participants of a rally in Yeouido, Seoul, urging the impeachment of President Yoon Seok-yeol.
