There was a post online threatening the safety of singer-turned-actress Bae Seul-gi and YouTuber Sim Ri-seop, her husband, prompting their agency to take strong legal action.

Bae Seul-gi's agency, Chan Entertainment, stated on the 9th, "We have decided to take strong legal action with a heavy heart regarding the recent murder threats made against Bae Seul-gi and her husband." The threatening post on an online community targeted Bae Seul-gi's husband, who is active as a YouTuber, and contained content about waiting in front of their house and killing the entire family.

It is reported that the police became aware of the post when they visited their home. The agency said, "The expressions circulated through a community bulletin board are so horrific that they cannot be described in detail, and the (Bae Seul-gi) family is currently having difficulty maintaining their daily lives. Although methods such as deleting URLs and withdrawing memberships to avoid leaving evidence are spreading, we are collecting all the written posts and continuously requesting cooperation from related sites."

The agency added that although the post was deleted after being published, they have already filed a complaint with the police, emphasizing, "We will track down the malicious post writers and distributors of comments together with the investigative authorities until the end and hold them legally accountable with a zero-tolerance policy."

Bae Seul-gi debuted in 2005 as a member of the girl group 'The Red' and was active in variety shows. She later transitioned to acting, appearing in dramas such as 'Desperate Romance,' 'Oasis,' and the movie 'Kkangcheoli.'
