The incentive payment target is travel agencies registered as comprehensive travel agencies under the Tourism Promotion Act that attract foreign group tourists of 10 or more. If the conditions of staying one night at a lodging facility, having one meal at a restaurant, and visiting two tourist attractions (including one paid attraction) within the region are met, an incentive of 5,000 KRW per person per night and up to 10,000 KRW for two or more nights will be paid.

Additional incentives ranging from 2,000 to 3,000 KRW per person are also provided if additional conditions such as paid experiences, attending performances, or using Yongin Jungang Market are met. Comprehensive travel agencies registered with the city receive a separate incentive of 2,000 KRW.

Travel agencies wishing to apply must submit a prior plan including the itinerary to the city’s tourism department by mail or the person in charge’s email at least three days before the tourists’ visit and consult in advance. Supporting documents must be submitted within 20 days after the trip ends. Detailed information can be found in the announcement on Yongin City’s website.

A city official said, "We started the incentive support project so that tourists visiting the city can visit various tourist attractions in the region, stay one more day, and feel the charm once more," adding, "We will do our best to revitalize stay-type tourism through active marketing and contribute to the local economy."
