Jang Yunhyeok, the para-badminton coach, and Hong Jahyeon, the para-athletics coach, from the Jeju Special Self-Governing Province Sports Association for the Disabled (President Oh Younghun), have been selected as national team coaches for 2025.

Coach Jang Yunhyeok previously served as a national team coach in 2023, leading the national team, and notably supported Shin Kyunghwan to win a bronze medal in men's doubles at the Hangzhou Asian Para Games that year.

Additionally, coach Hong Jahyeon is currently coaching Kang Byeol, who achieved a triple crown at the 44th National Para Games. In particular, Kang Byeol's achievements of first place in discus throw and third place in shot put at the 2024 Italian Open Championship have greatly elevated the status of para sports in Jeju.

In response, Jeong Jaehoon, Executive Vice President of the Jeju Sports Association for the Disabled, stated, "We hope to continue discovering and nurturing outstanding athletes, laying the foundation for Jeju para sports to be recognized worldwide. I wish both coaches continued success."
