Business Implementation Agreement Signed with Jeonnam Development Corporation
60 Units for Youth and Newlyweds... 18 Billion KRW Invested

Jindo County, South Jeolla Province (Governor Kim Heesu), in collaboration with Jeonnam Development Corporation, is officially launching the "Jeonnam-style 10,000 Won Housing Construction Project."

According to the county, on the 8th, a business agreement was signed in the situation room on the 2nd floor of the county office, with Governor Kim Heesu and Jeonnam Development Corporation President Jang Chungmo in attendance, to ensure the successful implementation of the Jeonnam-style 10,000 Won Housing Project.

The county plans to build 60 units of 10,000 Won Housing, including 30 units for newlywed couples and others for young people, in the Jindo-eup area by 2026. The total project cost is 18 billion KRW, and the plan is to construct 30 units of 32-pyeong (for newlyweds) and 30 units of 24-pyeong (for young people).

The Jeonnam-style 10,000 Won Housing is an innovative housing welfare policy that provides residential spaces where tenants can live by paying only a low monthly rent of 10,000 KRW. It is especially expected to contribute to preventing the outflow of young people caused by issues such as employment, education, and housing, by providing a stable residential environment.

Through this agreement, Jindo County will provide administrative support such as supplying the project site, site development, and permits, while Jeonnam Development Corporation will be responsible for the design and construction of the housing, recruitment and selection of tenants, and management and operation, ensuring the project proceeds quickly.

Governor Kim Heesu stated, "Through the Jeonnam-style 10,000 Won Housing, we expect to provide stable housing for young people and newlyweds, which will serve as an opportunity to increase the population inflow into Jindo County."

Jang Chungmo, President of Jeonnam Development Corporation, said, "This will become a model case of solving local community issues through public-private cooperation," and added, "Based on our expertise, we will work with Jindo County to make the Jeonnam-style 10,000 Won Housing a successful project."

Meanwhile, information regarding the recruitment and selection of tenants for the Jeonnam-style 10,000 Won Housing to be built in Jindo County will be shared through the Jindo County Office website and the Jeollanam-do Housing Welfare Center in the future.
