Singer Lee Byung-chan's Fan Club Norang-ideul Donates 1.8 Tons of Rice to Gunnae-myeon, Pocheon-si

The Administrative Welfare Center of Gunnae-myeon, Pocheon-si, Gyeonggi Province, announced on the 8th that the fan club ‘Norang-i,’ who love singer Lee Byung-chan, donated 1.8 tons of rice to celebrate Lee Byung-chan’s birthday (January 8) on the 7th.

The donated 1.8 tons of rice symbolizes the date of Lee Byung-chan’s birthday, January 8. At the request of the fans, it will be distributed to low-income neighbors in Gunnae-myeon, Lee Byung-chan’s hometown.


Fans who participated in the donation from all over the country said, “We decided to donate to continue Lee Byung-chan’s positive influence together,” and added, “Although it is a small sharing in the cold winter, we hope it brings warm comfort to those in need.”


Lee Yoon-kyung, head of Gunnae-myeon, expressed gratitude, saying, “We thank the fans of Lee Byung-chan, ‘Norang-i,’ who practiced warm sharing. Thanks to the donations continuing this year following last year, the positive influence has spread widely in the local community,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that the donated rice is properly delivered to low-income neighbors in the area.”


Meanwhile, Pocheon City’s public relations ambassador Lee Byung-chan gained recognition by ranking 5th in the final round of TV Chosun’s audition program ‘Tomorrow’s National Singer’ in 2021. He is currently active as a singer and musical actor.
