Live ammunition was discovered at a recycling area in an apartment complex in Gwangju, prompting a police investigation.

According to the Gwangju Nambu Police Station on the 8th, at around 9:30 a.m. that day, four bullets, three shell casings, and three blank shell casings were found at the recycling area of an apartment complex in Jinwol-dong, Nam-gu.

An apartment security guard found the ammunition discarded in a used battery bin and reported it to the police.

Upon inspection, the police found that the discovered live ammunition and other items were old and rusted, and determined that there was no suspicion of espionage.

The police are investigating how the ammunition was discarded and plan to hand over the bullets to the military unit.
