Applications Open Until the 13th for 51 Projects Including Youth Job Creation and Environmental Improvement Programs
Gochang-gun, Jeollabuk-do is accepting applications for participants in the first phase of the 2025 Public Work Project until the 13th.
According to the county on the 8th, a total of 87 participants will be recruited for 51 projects, including youth employment programs and environmental maintenance projects.
Applicants must be at least 18 years old and registered residents of Gochang-gun as of the announcement date, and must be capable of working.
Household income must be 70% or less of the standard median income (for a four-person household in 2024, 4,268,441 KRW), and total assets (including land, buildings, houses, vehicles, etc.) must not exceed 400 million KRW.
The wage is set at 80,240 KRW per day (10,030 KRW per hour for 8 hours). Those under 70 years old can work up to 30 hours per week, those 70 and older up to 15 hours per week, and youth-targeted projects (ages 18-45) up to 40 hours per week.
Hwang Minan, Director of the New Vitality Economic Policy Division, stated, "We will fairly select participants who meet the purpose of the public work project, provide employment experience for vulnerable groups, and thoroughly operate the project to help stabilize their livelihoods."
Applications can be submitted until the 13th by visiting the local town or township office with a completed application form and a copy of your ID.
The county will conduct a fair review using the Il Moa system to check participants' household income, assets, and the number of times they have participated in public jobs, and will finalize the selection of participants by the 27th.
