"Arguing Over Money..." 50-Year-Old Wife Kills Husband
A woman in her 50s who killed her husband with a weapon during a marital dispute in Hwaseong, Gyeonggi Province, was arrested by the police.
On the 8th, the Hwaseong Dongtan Police Station announced that they had applied for an arrest warrant the previous day for a woman in her 50s, identified as A, who was detained on suspicion of murder.
A is accused of stabbing her husband, B, also in his 50s, with a weapon around 9 p.m. on the 6th at an apartment in Jangji-dong, Hwaseong City. B was taken to the hospital for treatment but ultimately died.
It was investigated that A committed the crime after a verbal dispute over financial issues while drinking with her husband inside the house.
The police responded to a report from another family member on the day of the incident and urgently arrested A at her residence.
During the police investigation, A reportedly stated that the crime was committed impulsively after the argument.
