Genians is actively working to revitalize the domestic market as it achieves visible results in the global zero trust market.
Cybersecurity company Genians announced on the 8th that it has consecutively supplied its zero trust security solution, ‘Genians ZTNA (Zero Trust Network Access),’ to a global steel company, financial institutions in the United States, government agencies in Central America, large construction companies and financial institutions in South America, and aerospace and defense industry companies in North America.
The ‘global steel company,’ which is among the Fortune 500, needed a new security architecture to respond to the rapidly changing work environment. After competing with global zero trust companies including Genians, they chose ‘Genians ZTNA,’ which has strengths in enhancing security levels through cloud-based segmented policies and authentication.
The ‘Credit Union’ in the United States also decided to adopt Genians’ ZTNA solution to meet security requirements amid the rapidly changing IT environment. The key factor for adopting the solution was its ability to effectively address security challenges in remote work environments.
A government agency in a Central American country switched from the previously used Genians NAC (Network Access Control) solution to ZTNA. After securing network visibility through NAC, the agency adopted ‘Genians ZTNA’ to realize strong access control based on zero trust principles.
In addition, ‘Genians ZTNA’ is being adopted across various industries such as large construction companies and financial institutions in South America, enhancing customers’ security levels. Recently, an aerospace and defense company in North America also introduced an on-premises based ZTNA to protect sensitive defense data.
‘Genians ZTNA’ is a zero trust solution optimized for IT and security environments, strengthening information control functions. It supports △ secure remote user access △ SaaS and cloud access control △ micro segmentation △ enhanced authentication with FIDO and Passkeys support △ traffic and application visibility and control functions △ IP mobility (use of designated IPs that can move freely).
Since 2021, zero trust has emerged as a major topic in the global security industry and has grown rapidly. Genians has succeeded in securing global zero trust customers in line with this growth. Recently, the zero trust market in Korea is accelerating with the announcement of ‘Zero Trust Guideline 2.0’ and the launch of ‘Demonstration and Pilot Projects.’ Genians, having proven its competitiveness by securing global customers, is expected to gain a favorable position in the domestic zero trust market.
Kim Gye-yeon, CTO of Genians and head of the U.S. branch, said, “The zero trust business is showing visible results through consecutive orders in the global market,” adding, “Based on global references accumulated across various industries and regions, we will contribute to the spread and establishment of zero trust solutions in domestic and overseas markets and establish ourselves as a leading security company.”
