Tuen moved into the Gyeongbuk Technopark Advanced Medical Convergence Fiber Center factory building in 2023 and has been developing core technologies in the eco-friendly industry sector based on oil-water separation, wastewater purification, and water electrolysis technologies.
In June of last year, it secured Pre-A level investment and signed agreements with global companies from the United States, Japan, Singapore, and others, strengthening its position in the global market by exporting oil-water separators to Japanese companies.
Tuen's core technology, Membrane Distillation (MD), reduces energy consumption by 30% while achieving a water recovery rate of over 80% compared to the conventional Reverse Osmosis (RO) method, accelerating the commercialization of wastewater purification and desalination systems and their application across various industries.
A representative from Gyeongbuk Technopark stated, “Tuen's technology is an innovative solution to the globally significant issue of water resource management,” adding, “We plan to actively support promising small and medium-sized enterprises in the Gyeongbuk region to grow further and contribute to industrial development.”
