Korea Post "Concerns Over Delayed Mail Delivery in Chungcheong and Jeolla Regions Due to Heavy Snowfall"

The Ministry of Science and ICT's Korea Post announced that starting from the night of the 7th, heavy snowfall is forecasted in the West Coast regions such as Chungcheong-do and Jeolla-do, which may cause some delays in mail delivery.

Korea Post plans to minimize customer inconvenience due to delivery delays by using four-wheeled vehicles to deliver urgent mail in areas where delivery by two-wheeled vehicles is difficult. They added that deliveries will be made starting from areas where it is possible, prioritizing the safety of postal workers and parcel delivery agents.

Recipients will be informed of delivery delays via text messages (SMS) from the delivery post office. The status of registered mail transportation and delivery can be checked through the Korea Post website, Internet Post Office, and the Post Office app.
