Daegjin University Major Education Curriculum Accredited Department Certification Plaque Award Ceremony

Daejin University (President Jang Seok-hwan) Departments of Industrial Management Engineering, Food and Nutrition, and Computer Engineering participated in the 5th "Major Curriculum Accreditation Program" hosted by the Education Innovation Team of the Education Innovation Office at Daejin University and were selected as accredited departments for the major curriculum.

The departments accredited for the major curriculum were selected after evaluation by an accreditation evaluation team including external experts and final deliberation by the Curriculum Accreditation Committee. The Departments of Industrial Management Engineering, Food and Nutrition, and Computer Engineering were selected as "Accredited (4 years)" departments.

On the 2nd, an accreditation plaque awarding ceremony for the major curriculum was held at the Daejin Education Hall auditorium of Daejin University. President Jang Seok-hwan stated at the ceremony, "Through the Major Curriculum Accreditation Program, we will manage and continuously improve the quality of our university’s major education."

Additionally, the Director of the Education Innovation Office (Professor Yoon Young-sun of the Department of Sports Health Science) announced, "We plan to steadily implement the Major Curriculum Accreditation Program in the future to achieve and improve demand-centered competency-based major curriculum operation."

Daejin University introduced the "Major Curriculum Accreditation Program" in the 2020 academic year and has conducted it annually. For the 2024 academic year, it introduced a "Major Curriculum Re-accreditation" system for continuous quality management of major education. The re-accreditation system targets departments whose accreditation validity period has expired. The Departments of Industrial Management Engineering and Computer Engineering, which were selected as accredited departments in the 1st accreditation program in the 2020 academic year, received "Accredited (4 years)" status in the 2024 Major Curriculum Re-accreditation.
