Hanwha Aerospace, where Kang secured employment, is one of Hanwha's "Defense Big Three" companies, leading the aerospace frontier and new mobility markets based on innovative technologies. Kang from the Department of Robot Machinery was finally accepted for the CNC machining position in the 2024 open recruitment. With this, the Department of Robot Machinery has achieved the remarkable feat of producing a large corporation employee within four years since the Robot Campus opened, proving its employment competitiveness.

The background of this large corporation recruitment success lies in two factors: the practice-oriented curriculum of the Department of Robot Machinery and employment strategies. The educational goal of the Department of Robot Machinery is to cultivate talent in unmanned production technology using industrial robots, product design technology, and numerical control cutting processing. To achieve these educational goals, the curriculum was structured to allow students to practice with as many pieces of equipment used in actual industrial sites as possible. Additionally, to ensure students gain employment competitiveness in the job market within the short span of two years, various projects and special lectures for certification were conducted. As a result, the Department of Robot Machinery is well known within the Robot Campus for its high certification acquisition rate.

Kang from the Department of Robot Machinery said, "The practice-oriented education using MCT machine tools employed in actual industries and diverse project experiences greatly helped in securing employment," and expressed gratitude to the professors who generously supported him until his acceptance at Hanwha Aerospace.

Jang Won-young, head of the Department of Robot Machinery, stated, "We will lead the future technology industry by nurturing high-level production technology engineers equipped with field-oriented skills and unmanned production technology necessary for industrial application of robots."

Meanwhile, Korea Polytechnic University Robot Campus is a national technical university under the Ministry of Employment and Labor, aiming to cultivate robotic technology personnel, a core of future industrial automation. It operates four specialized departments in core technologies such as machinery, electronics, automation, and IT, and is conducting regular admissions for the 2025 academic year two-year degree program until the 15th.
