From the 2025 Lunar New Year pre-order period (12/20~1/5), the Gwangju branch has focused on ‘Warm Curation’ as the keyword and devoted great effort to offering customized product suggestions.

Considering the difficult domestic situation such as the prolonged recession and sluggish domestic demand, the aim is to minimize the hassle and effort involved in choosing products while carefully selecting meaningful items that convey warm feelings for the New Year.

First, fresh foods such as livestock, fruits and vegetables, and seafood have strengthened cooperation with excellent production areas to ensure reliable gifts. In particular, gift sets produced in clean and trustworthy local regions are introduced.

For livestock sets, ‘Hampyeong Cheonji Hanwoo Premium Set (750,000 KRW)’, ‘Hampyeong Cheonji Hanwoo Jeongseong No.3 Set (500,000 KRW)’, ‘Gochang Hanwoo Thanks No.1 Set (530,000 KRW)’, and ‘Gochang Hanwoo Thanks No.2 Set (390,000 KRW)’ are prepared.

Seafood sets include ‘Yeonggwang Beopseongpo Dried Gulbi (900,000 KRW)’ and ‘Heuksando Honggeo GIFT (market price)’, while agricultural sets feature Naju’s specialty ‘Naju Pear Set (180,000 KRW)’ and ‘Jangheung Baekhwago Premium Set (300,000 KRW)’.

Various gift sets made by master artisans located in the Gwangju branch are also showcased.

Representative products include ‘Doraji Cheong No.1 (158,000 KRW)’ made by Kang Bong-seok, Korea’s Food Master No. 32, who has carried on the family business for five generations; ‘Master Jeotgal Premium (125,000 KRW)’ made by Kim Jeong-bae, Seafood Food Master No. 5 with 90 years of tradition; and ‘Sangchon Traditional Sauce Hae (98,000 KRW)’ by Kwon Ki-ok, Food Master No. 37, who preserves the taste of the old Joseon royal court.

Additionally, the local representative bakery Bebier offers a ‘Cookie Set (39,000 KRW)’ and ‘Ma Wang Pie (30,000 KRW)’, while Bohyang Tteokjip prepares a ‘Rice Cake Soup Rice Cake + Popular Rice Cake Set (23,000 KRW)’.

During the main sale period (1/6~27), a promotion will also be held where customers can receive Lotte gift certificates worth up to 5-10% of the purchase amount depending on the product.

Meanwhile, for customers who find it difficult to visit offline, Lotte Department Store Mall will provide various benefits to those purchasing Lunar New Year gift sets until the 27th.

Notably, food gift sets offer a 5% discount based on the purchase amount, and a promotion is underway where up to 8% of the purchase amount can be earned as L.Points on a first-come, first-served basis.

Customized gift recommendations are provided according to the recipient, such as parents or nephews, and some Hanwoo and cosmetics sets offer a ‘Same-Day Arrival’ service if ordered by 11 a.m.

Lee Kyung-min, head of the Food Team at the Gwangju branch, said, “We have carefully prepared a variety of Lunar New Year gift sets that can convey warm and sincere feelings to your loved ones,” and added, “We hope this holiday season will be filled with happy sharing with family and relatives.”
