Sharing FC Vision and Goals, Promoting Win-Win Cooperation with Local Community
Gyeongnam Hamyang-gun announced on the 7th that it held a meeting with parents at the county office's main conference room ahead of the launch of the Hamyang FC soccer team.
This meeting was organized to share the vision and goals of the Hamyang FC establishment and to promote coexistence with the local community.
Hamyang-gun is promoting the establishment of Hamyang FC to instill dreams and hope in local youth through soccer and to develop and expand the local soccer base. Hamyang FC will begin full-scale activities starting in 2025, and Kim Seong-bae, who has extensive experience, is scheduled to be appointed as the founding coach.
Coach Kim Seong-bae is a former professional soccer player for the Busan Icons and has worked as a coach on various stages including high school, university, and professional soccer teams, producing many outstanding players. With the founding of Hamyang FC, he is embarking on a new challenge. He expressed his determination, saying, “I will do my best to help Hamyang FC grow into a team recognized nationwide beyond the local region.”
The meeting began with a welcoming speech by Jin Byeong-yeong, the mayor of Hamyang-gun, followed by explanations of the purpose of Hamyang FC’s establishment, progress reports, operational plans, and player support measures.
Mayor Jin said, “The establishment of the soccer team is a new challenge that Hamyang-gun is undertaking for future generations. Through Hamyang FC, we will provide opportunities for youth to grow and do our best to help them realize their dreams without any shortcomings.”
Sports Association Chairman Ahn Byeong-myeong added, “We will spare no systematic support so that students can focus on both soccer and their studies,” gaining the trust of the parents.
In response, a parent representative expressed gratitude, saying, “I was very worried about starting anew in a different place, but seeing today’s warm welcome and sincere support plans reassures me.”
Meanwhile, Hamyang-gun plans to continue making every effort to ensure the smooth establishment and stable operation of Hamyang FC based on close cooperation with the local community so that Hamyang FC can establish itself as a representative sports team of the region. In particular, there are growing expectations from the local community for Hamyang FC’s future activities to blossom new possibilities for the region through soccer.
