NH Investment & Securities announced on the 7th that its retirement pension reserves have surpassed 8 trillion KRW. This marks an increase of 1 trillion KRW just six months after exceeding 7 trillion KRW at the end of June 2024.
As of the end of December 2024, NH Investment & Securities' retirement pension reserves reached 8.1257 trillion KRW, a 25% increase compared to 6.4999 trillion KRW at the end of December 2023. In particular, the defined contribution (DC) plans and individual retirement pensions (IRP), which are directly managed by the pension subscribers, grew by 30.5% and 45.1% respectively, driving this growth.
NH Investment & Securities is demonstrating outstanding growth in its retirement pension business sector, expanding its position as a retirement pension provider. As of the end of December 2024, the number of DC transaction corporations with NH Investment & Securities reached 2,108, with 618 new corporations entering as retirement pension business clients, a 41% increase compared to the end of 2023. The expansion of DC transaction corporations has broadened the subscriber base, significantly increasing the number of retirement pension subscribers.
The company’s industry-leading diverse product lineup has also received positive reviews. Most retirement pension principal-guaranteed products and public funds can be physically transferred to NH Investment & Securities’ retirement pension, and various bond products such as government bonds, local bonds, and corporate bonds can be easily and conveniently invested in via mobile. Notably, real-time investment is available in over 730 listed exchange-traded funds (ETFs), and the AI-based ETF chart analysis service is considered a unique strength of NH Investment & Securities. This year, the company plans to offer various services including ETF installment investment services and retirement pension robo-advisor (RA) discretionary services. At the end of last year, NH Investment & Securities was selected as an innovative finance pilot project operator for providing retirement pension robo-advisor discretionary services, highlighting its prominence in the robo-advisor service sector. Moving forward, the company plans to offer diverse investment options through both its own RA strategies and strategic partnerships with external RA specialists.
Additionally, NH Investment & Securities closely manages retirement pension customers from the subscription stage through its dedicated pension asset management center, a customer service center exclusively for retirement pension clients.
