Samsung Electronics stated that it has sent out invitations for Galaxy Unpacked 2025 to global media and partners on that day. The invitation video begins with the Galaxy AI logo shaped like a star, created by joining the rounded curves seen at the four corners of a phone. Along with a microphone image, a voice asks in English, "When is Samsung Galaxy Unpacked?" followed by the reveal of the event date.

Galaxy Unpacked 2025 will be broadcast live online through Samsung Electronics Newsroom, Samsung.com, and Samsung Electronics’ YouTube channel, allowing viewers in Korea to watch the event in real time.

This event will be held under the theme "The Next Big Leap in Mobile AI Experiences." It is interpreted as Samsung’s intention to showcase an evolved AI smartphone following the launch of the world’s first AI phone, the Galaxy S24 series, in the first half of last year.

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to be unveiled at this year’s Unpacked. According to IT foreign media and tipsters, Samsung Electronics is anticipated to release a 'Slim' model for the first time in the series. The Slim model is expected to be the thinnest among the S series.

The Galaxy S25 series is expected to offer users more personalized AI features. Samsung Electronics has revealed the AI-integrated operating system 'One UI 7 Beta Program,' and the official version is planned to be installed on the Galaxy S25 series.

The newly introduced 'Now Bar' feature is also expected to be applied. This feature helps users execute necessary functions from the lock screen. For example, if a user is traveling abroad, they can check and receive recommendations for pre-trip information, traffic conditions to the airport, weather, and more through the Now Bar.

One of the points to watch is whether a teaser video for new products such as the extended reality (XR) headset device 'Project Muhan,' which Samsung Electronics announced will be released next year, will be unveiled. At last year’s first half Unpacked event, a teaser video for the ring-shaped wearable device 'Galaxy Ring' was also revealed.

Samsung Electronics said, "We hope you will experience Samsung’s innovation that will open a new era of mobile AI experiences with natural and intuitive Galaxy AI."
