Bodyfriend and Ceragem, the leading domestic healthcare massage appliance companies, faced off at CES 2025, the world's largest electronics and IT exhibition. While both companies focus on healthcare as their foundation, Bodyfriend appears to concentrate more on 'robotics technology,' whereas Ceragem emphasizes 'comprehensive home healthcare.'
According to industry sources on the 7th, Bodyfriend and Ceragem are participating side by side at CES, held in Las Vegas, USA, from this day until the 10th.
Bodyfriend, attending CES for the ninth consecutive year, showcases upgraded robotics technology centered on the AI healthcare robot '733,' which won the CES 2025 Innovation Award, and another healthcare robot, 'Eden Robo,' in a 157-pyeong (approximately 518 square meters) space.
Unveiled at the CES Unveiled event on the 5th, the 733 robot raises the arm nearly 180 degrees and moves limbs independently to perform various body movements, maximizing stretching effects. Additionally, the healthcare robot is designed to stand up and sit down by itself, allowing users who had difficulty using massage chairs to get on and off comfortably. When linked with 'HeartSafe,' a medical device application from Bodyfriend’s subsidiary 'MedicalAI,' it measures and analyzes the user's electrocardiogram in real time. The Eden Robo, exhibited alongside the 733, also attracts attention. It is a product that combines the advantages of massage chairs and massage beds, with independently operating legs.
Ceragem, participating in CES for the second time this year following last year, has prepared an exhibition space in the lifestyle zone under the slogan 'Wellness Begins at HOME' with the concept of 'The Healthy Home of the Future.' This year, it displays about 20 products, including 'Ceragem Balance,' which helps establish seven healthy habits for a good life, a 'Smart Headboard,' beauty devices, and home-use medical devices for depression improvement.
Ceragem Balance is an ion water purifier certified by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety. It produces alkaline ion water with a hydrogen ion concentration (pH) of 8.6 to 9.5 through electrolysis. It helps improve four major gastrointestinal symptoms such as indigestion and excessive stomach acid. The Smart Headboard is a product that allows users to select and combine sound and light to automatically create a personalized healthcare environment. It provides customized medical services by detecting respiratory rate, heart rate, and automatically connecting to medical institutions. Ceragem explained, "This CES exhibition reflects the healthcare industry trend where people want to manage their health at home."
