Starting from the 7th, 10 Courses per Crop 'Practical Agricultural Training' to be Conducted
The Gapyeong-gun Agricultural Technology Center in Gyeonggi announced on the 6th that it will conduct the '2025 New Year Practical Education for Farmers' over 8 days from the 7th to the 21st at three locations including the Agricultural Technology Center auditorium.
This education, targeting about 1,400 farmers in the Gapyeong area, is held annually to improve agricultural competitiveness through scientific farming and to increase farm income. Residents interested in agriculture can attend the courses free of charge on the day of the education.
The education consists of 10 courses including △Eco-friendly Rice Farming △Chili Peppers △Apples △Grapes △Agricultural Microorganisms △Eco-friendly Certification △Agricultural Machinery △Food Processing △Beekeeping △Apiculture, covering essential topics for farming such as new technologies by field, pest and disease management, guidance on agricultural technology dissemination pilot projects, and public direct payment education.
An official from the Agricultural Technology Center stated, “We will continue to strive to strengthen the region’s agricultural competitiveness by responding to changes in the agricultural environment,” and added, “We ask for active participation from farmers so that this education can be of practical help in planning farming activities for the new year 2025.”
