At the 'Mind Relief Bus,' mental health professionals provide customized support such as mental health assessments, stress measurements, and psychological counseling to citizens visiting the joint memorial service, helping those experiencing anxiety and depression due to the accident recover psychologically.
In addition to on-site counseling, the city also offers counseling at the Mental Health Welfare Center and via phone. Citizens seeking counseling can receive psychological counseling and professional support through the city and provincial Disaster Psychological Recovery Support Center and the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s mental health crisis counseling hotline during evenings and weekends.
The city plans to continue providing support to help citizens quickly regain psychological stability and return to their daily lives.
Lee Gwon-jae, Mayor of Osan City, stated, "We will do our best to ensure the psychological stability and recovery of our citizens through the provision of disaster mental health services."
