Movie 'Wicked' Wins Rising Star Award at Palm Springs International Film Festival
Pop star and actress Ariana Grande (31) drew attention with her humorous remarks at the 36th Palm Springs International Film Festival for the movie Wicked.

At the awards ceremony held on the 3rd (local time) at the Palm Springs Convention Center in California, Grande received the Rising Star Award and said, "I never thought I would hear the term 'rising star' again at 31. I thank Juv?derm (filler) and Botox for making this moment possible," eliciting great laughter.
She also shed tears, saying, "You have no idea how much this award means to me." She added with humor, "By now, I thought I would be called a 'fading star' or a 'drooping star,' so I am grateful to be called a 'rising star' instead."
Ariana Grande revealed her past experience of regularly receiving Botox and lip fillers. She stopped these procedures after 2018 and stated in a promotional interview for Wicked last September, "I have never had rhinoplasty, chin implants, or breast augmentation, but I am open to plastic surgery." Regarding procedures like Brazilian butt lifts, she expressed a negative stance, saying, "I don't think it would suit me."
In the movie Wicked, Grande passionately portrayed the role of Glinda, who has not yet discovered her true nature. She began her entertainment career appearing in the Broadway musical 13, and upon taking this role, she expressed special feelings, saying, "Returning to Broadway is like returning to my roots."
Wicked is a story about Elphaba (Cynthia Erivo), who has not realized her own power, and Glinda, who is finding her true self, building a friendship while facing unexpected crises and adventures. The film was released in theaters last November and is currently showing.
Grande sparked dating rumors after publicly dating Ethan Slater, her co-star in the film, since last September. Although both were married at the time they met, it is known that they are currently continuing their relationship after breaking up.
