At 9:54 a.m. on the 5th, a magnitude 2.1 earthquake occurred near Bongsu-myeon, Uiryeong-gun, Gyeongnam.

According to the Gyeongnam Fire Headquarters and the Korea Meteorological Administration, the epicenter was located 18 km north-northeast of Uiryeong-gun, with a focal depth of 10 km.

There have been no reports of complaints or damages caused by this earthquake.

This is the third earthquake to occur on the Korean Peninsula this year, following a magnitude 2.9 earthquake in Geochang, Gyeongnam at 3:28 p.m. on the 3rd, and a magnitude 2.2 earthquake in Ongjin, Hwanghae-namdo, North Korea at 2:43 a.m. on the 5th.
