The Jeonnam Agricultural Research and Extension Services announced on the 4th that applications for this year's 'Youth Farmer Startup Scale-up Support Project' will be accepted until the 31st.

This is a public project that supports the growth of young farmers by helping them establish equipment and facilities related to their startup items. The project aims to support the comprehensive growth of startup companies in agriculture, including brand enhancement, business expansion, and improvement of the business environment.

Eligible applicants are young farmers aged 18 to 45 who have participated in the Youth Farmer Startup Support Project, Youth Farmer Competitiveness Enhancement Project, or Rural Youth Entrepreneur Development Project, and are representatives of startups, agricultural corporations, or agricultural cooperatives.

Three companies will be selected, and each will receive a project fund of 150 million KRW.

The selected startups can receive various support, including the establishment of facilities and equipment to reduce production costs and advance technology, strengthening IR investment capabilities, management consulting, and marketing and sales channel development. Applications can be submitted through the city or county Agricultural Technology Center.
