Support for Caregiving, Medical Expenses, and Living Costs for Self-Reliance
Korea Housing Finance Corporation (HF, President Kim Kyunghwan) donated 150 million KRW to the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation (Chairman Hwang Younggi) on the 3rd to alleviate the social isolation and family care burdens of children and adolescents who care for sick family members or are responsible for their household’s livelihood.
This project, conducted in collaboration with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, supports family care, family medical expenses, living expenses, educational expenses, and housing costs to reduce the financial burden on children and adolescents who care for their families. Through this, the two organizations plan to assist 80 family care children and adolescents in entering society.
Kim Kyunghwan, President of Korea Housing Finance Corporation, said, “I hope this project will reduce the burdens on children and adolescents who care for their families while sustaining their livelihoods and help them take a step forward into society. The corporation will continue to support children and adolescents in welfare blind spots this year as well.”
