Pusan National University, Next Year's Regular Admission Average Competition Rate 4.20 to 1

Recruitment of 1,839 People, 7,715 Applicants

Pusan National University (President Choi Jae-won) announced on the 3rd that the application deadline for the 2025 regular admission cycle has closed with a competition rate of 4.20 to 1. A total of 7,715 applicants applied for 1,839 available spots.

In the regular admission 'Ga' group, 3,825 applicants competed for 1,012 spots, resulting in a competition rate of 3.78:1. In the 'Na' group, 3,000 applicants applied for 764 spots, with a competition rate of 3.93:1. The newly established 'Da' group for 2025 saw a high competition rate of 14.13:1, with 890 applicants vying for 63 spots.

In the humanities and social sciences, the Department of Language and Information attracted 93 applicants for 10 spots, a competition rate of 9.30:1. In the natural sciences, the School of Advanced Convergence Engineering’s Engineering Autonomous Major had 343 applicants for 23 spots, resulting in a competition rate of 14.91:1.

The practical exam schedule for regular admissions is January 8 for the Department of Sports Science and January 9?10 for the College of Arts.

The list of successful candidates for regular admission will be announced on February 7 at 4 p.m. on the Pusan National University admissions information website.
