Two Large Military-Owned Buses Wrapped to Lead Tourism Resource Promotion
Busan Gijang-gun recently announced on the 3rd that the newly launched tourism promotional wrapping bus is attracting the attention of local residents and citizens, receiving positive responses.
This wrapping bus was prepared to continuously showcase Gijang-gun's tourism resources, filled with its pristine natural environment and diverse attractions and activities, in a mobile format to enhance the county's image and revitalize local tourism.
At the end of last year, the county completed the wrapping installation on two large buses owned by the county, featuring local tourism resources, and completed the 'Outdoor Advertising Display Report' procedure in accordance with relevant laws. The exterior of the vehicles features graphics of the sea symbolizing Gijang-gun, a representative marine tourism city, with major tourist spots in Gijang-eup, Gijang-gun, including ▲ Jukseong Dream Set ▲ Haedong Yonggungsa ▲ National Busan Science Museum ▲ Baby Bottle Lighthouse.
The wrapping buses are normally used as employee commuter buses, traveling daily to adjacent cities such as Haeundae, and during major events, they serve as the vanguard for promoting the county's tourism resources by transporting participants to crowded areas such as airports and KTX stations, as well as metropolitan and regional cities.
Additionally, starting with the promotion of tourism resources in the Gijang-eup area, the county plans to sequentially incorporate tourism resources from Jangan-eup, Jeonggwan-eup, Ilgwang-eup, and Cheolma-myeon areas into the operation.
County Governor Jeong Jong-bok said, “This bus wrapping is a new mobile tourism resource promotion, and we hope that more tourists will visit our Gijang-gun,” adding, “We will continue to devise various measures for the efficient promotion of the county’s tourism resources.”
