Yuna Steps Up Again to Show Love for Neighbors

SeMa Sports Marketing announced on the 3rd that Yoon Ina, who will be active on the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour starting this year, donated approximately 33,597,712 KRW to Yonsei University Medical Center along with her fan club. The donation will be used for the treatment costs of pediatric and adolescent cancer patients facing financial difficulties. Yoon Ina's fan club, "Bitina," voluntarily raised the donation funds, and Yoon Ina added an equal amount from her own pocket.

Yoon Ina said, "I am happy to make a donation to a meaningful cause together with my fans," adding, "I will continue to strive to expand positive influence with my fans." Lee Sang-gil, Director of External Cooperation at Yonsei University Medical Center, expressed gratitude, saying, "We thank professional golfer Yoon Ina and her fans for practicing sharing with warm hearts," and added, "This sponsorship will be a great support to pediatric and adolescent cancer patients in difficult situations."

At a press conference last month regarding her entry into the LPGA Tour, Yoon Ina announced that she would donate 10 million KRW each to the Korea Golf Association (KGA) and the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA). She said, "I have always said I want to be a player who contributes to the development of golf, and I thought the best thing I can do is to help junior players," adding, "I hope to be a seed of hope for junior players who are nurturing their dreams in difficult environments."

Yoon Ina will compete on the LPGA Tour this year. She secured her LPGA Tour card by finishing 8th at the LPGA Tour Qualifying (Q) Series Final held last month in Mobile, Alabama, USA. She will depart on January 19 and officially debut on the LPGA Tour at the Founders Cup in early February.
